First off, I’m just going to get this out of the way and say how annoying I found some of the shots and camera work. It’s very shakey and just annoyed me! But that may just be me!
So back to the review, I’ll try not to do any spoilers, because I really think you should see it.
James Mcavoy plays Kevin, a guy who’s suffering from a mental disorder that has created 23 personalities, and he uses so many skills by changing his voice, posture etc to differentiate each personality so clearly and it’s a joy to watch!
The actress who plays the lead girl also plays a phenomenal part. There’s far more than meets the eye, and it’s played phenomenally. You feel for the character, and it’s satisfying that she’s not your typical female character, and a that has some form of brain function and doesn’t just take the knee jerk reaction. Much unlike the other two young women, who’s acting is quite shit I have to say.
My other complaint is the ending. It’s left to open for a sequel, and considering this is tied to Unbreakable, which came out 15 years ago, it’ll be a great annoyance if we have to wait that long again!
