The Faculty

I’ve been meaning to get round to reviewing this for agesss. It’s one of my favourite films and one very few seem to know of. But they had it on Syfy. It was cold out side and I had no plans to be social, so I settled down with this, a Diet Coke and chocolate cake and got stuck in.

So it’s a Sci fi thriller, think body snatchers but with an all star cast (think Josh Hartnett, Elijah Wood and Usher) from 1998.

It’s typical in the sense it’s set in a high school and is left to students to fix, and it brings together a group of people that wouldn’t normally associate with each other.

It’s a light film, not to many jumps or major scares in it so it can never be true horror film, but it’s worth a watch. But it can be a bit slow in places. You’ve been warned!

Rating 3.5 out of 5. It will always be a personal favourite of mine. But it hasn’t stood the test of time and if you haven’t already seen it, it’s a bit predictable in places.
